The Village of Waynesville produces drinking water from wells along the Little Miami River. These aquifers are not impacted or threatened by the recent train derailment and subsequent chemical spill that occurred in East Palestine Ohio on February 3, 2023. The Village meets all Ohio EPA water quality standards required in our operating permit issued by the Ohio Environment Protection Agency.

Clerk of Council – Jamie Morley, was hired in March 2016.  Ms. Morley graduated from Kenyon College with a B.A. in both History and Anthropology.  She currently serves on the Board of the Ohio Municipal Clerks Association representing villages of Ohio. Her family moved to Wayne Township in 2004, where she and her husband raised their two children, both graduates of Wayne Local Schools.  She is an avid gardener and teaches stained glass at the Hobby Shop at WPAFB. Her love and appreciation of history make for a perfect fit to help maintain the records of the Village.

Please call (513) 897-8015 or email to make a public record request, be placed on the Council meeting agenda, or receive an emailed copy of the Council agenda.
